- Wash your hair with a cleansing shampoo thoroughly to remove all dirt and oils from your previous install. If you have glue remaining on a lace product take a wet rag and push the glue towards the end of the lace in a constant sweeping motion until all glue is gone. Alcohol can help aid this process.
- Boil a pot of water. Remove the pot from heat and place a nice amount of conditioner and silicone mix (optional) and let it sit for at least 15-30 minutes.
- Detangle from tip to root.
- Rinse thoroughly.
